In fact, as long as you have a job, no late mortgage payments in the last year, and at least a 580 credit score you WILL qualify for a lower interest rate loan. VA Streamline: Very similar to the FHA Streamline, the VA Streamline allows US Veterans to refinance their VA loan to a lower interest rate, thus resulting in a lower payment and thousands of dollars of saved interest over the life of the new loan.
